Emergency Light Testing

The purpose of Emergency Light Testing or Emergency Lighting system is to allow safer entry and egress to a building in the event of a mains power failure.

Emergency Light Testing

Premier Compliance Solutions can conduct full duration testing across any and all installations and work closely with our clients in order to minimise disruption and provide a bespoke service that caters to all.

All emergency lighting systems should be designed and installed in accordance with BS 5266 and Maintained to the same standards.

Emergency lighting systems are generally required to be inspected annually, which should include the discharging of Luminaires usually for a period of 3 hours in order to assess the condition of the internal batteries and ensure that the lamps themselves are functioning correctly and for the durations they are required.
